Fox Heath offers a year-round riding lesson program for beginners through advanced students. Riding facilities include an indoor arena, a lighted sand jumping ring, two additional all-weather rings, hunt courses and trails. The lesson program is designed to produce a rider that is confident in the show ring and in the hunt field. Students range in age from three years old to seniors. The Fox Heath family of students include men and women from all different walks of life as well as boys and girls of all ages.
You will find a well-rounded program comparable to none in the area. Multiple disciplines of riding allow students to improve and be comfortable with different types of equestrian activities and competitions. Cross discipline training creates a more "balanced" rider. Most notably, we like to get our riders out of the ring, and encourage them to enjoy the beauty of the countryside.
Lesson students are placed, according to their level of experience, in groups of three to six riders. Entry-level students begin with private lessons before joining a group. The riding time and cost per lesson depends on the number of students participating:
Group (3 or more students) - one hour - $40
Semi-private (2 students) - forty five minutes - $45
Private (1 student) - thirty minutes - $50
6 years old and under- 20 minutes- $35
