Kate Warren joined the team at Fox Heath in 2016 as a trainer and instructor. Kate specializes in teaching at all levels from beginner through showing in hunters, equitation, jumpers and dressage. She thrives on teaching effective riding through correct equitation and comprehension of riding theories. As a certified member of the British Horse Society and growing up through the United States Pony Club; with a BHS Stage 3 certification and certified through Preliminary Teaching Test (PTT). Kate fallows similar safety and practical standards as both respected associations. Kate started riding at an early age on her family’s farm where she developed a confident domineer having learn to ride out in the open from the start. Kate was introduced to show jumping during a working student position for Kristine Pfister Stephenson “Tina” at Welwyn Stable in Rhinebeck, NY. Her time spent with Welwyn Stable sparked her love for teaching. Kate competed in the Amateur Adult-High Jumpers and help start babies under Tina. In 2015, Kate graduated Delaware Valley University with her bachelors in Equine Training and Instruction. Kate completed multiple equine independent studies and student research with one getting accepted into the International Society of Equitation Science (ISES) where she presented and was published in the Denmark conference proceedings for the ISES. While at Fox Heath Kate has brought her students to numerous championships through Associated Horse Shows and Interscholastic Equestrian Association.
